This question is in everyone’s mind. Will Anonymous attack facebook tomorrow i.e 5th November 2011 ? Will this be and end for facebook? For readers who don’t know what we are talking about, a few months back a Hacking group Anonymous threatened facebook my announcing their plans of killing Facebook on 5th November 2011.
This group posted a video on youtube a few months back and announced operation facebook.
The main concern of this group is regarding the privacy, they think that facebook abuses users privacy. According to them “Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world” .
They also said “Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your “privacy” settings, and deleting your account is impossible, even if you “delete” your account, all your personal info stays on Facebook and can be recovered at any time. Changing the privacy settings to make your Facebook account more “private” is also a delusion. Facebook knows more about you than your family. You cannot hide from the reality in which you, the people of the internet, live in. ”
In the end these were their words ” We Are ANONYMOUS. We Are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect Us.”
